What’s Included:
This hands-on class features four hours of live instruction in a beautiful Santa Fe studio. You’ll receive a kit with everything needed to create two floral micromosaic pendants:
- Essential tools and materials for this class and future projects: tweezers, diamond file, glass filati, two sterling silver plated bezels, and adhesive
- Resource guide with supplier information for purchasing your own materials later
What You’ll Learn:
You’ll design and create two micromosaic pendants while mastering key techniques:
- Cutting glass into small tiles and arranging them to create beautiful floral designs
- Using specialized micromosaic tools effectively
- Understanding micromosaic terminology and techniques
- Exploring different adhesive options and bezel settings for your projects
Optional tools you can bring:
- Disc-style tile/glass nipper (not included but highly recommended, available to purchase in-class)
- Magnification (reading glasses or a desktop stand magnifier)
- Safety glasses (loaner glasses will be available)
